AFFILIATES / INFORUM:  Peg Adams, Chair; Peter Fletcher, REALTOR® Liaison
Supports REALTORS® by participating in Association events, and scheduling speakers for the monthly Inforum meetings with information relating to real estate.

*BYLAWS / POLICY:  Angela McIntyre, Chair
Reviews bylaws and proposes revisions consistent with NAR and CAR and submits to membership for approval. Work with the Board of Directors in developing various policies as needed.

COMMERCIAL
REAL ESTATE:  Rich Krinks, Chair
Meets the 3rd Friday of every month at Pier 29. Enjoy breakfast, hear a great guest speaker, market your Commercial property and hear news specifically for Commercial sales & rentals.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
:  Justine Francis, Chair
Works on special events to better our community. This year’s events include Earth Day, Mayor’s 4th of July Parade, All Together Now.

EDUCATION
:  Dede Cunningham, Chair
Review and recommends educational opportunities, potential speakers, and other programs to enhance the professional education of our members.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY:  Nina Lim, Chair
Promoting equal opportunity in housing and diversity within the real estate industry.

*FINANCE / BUDGET:  Anne DeBardeleben, Chair
Reviews monthly financials for reporting at the Board of Director’s meetings. Prepares and monitors the annual budget along with the Treasurer. 

GREEN COUNCIL: Kate McCaffrey, Chair
Works to educate, promote and incorporate Green practices within the AAOR, both within the Association’s operations as well as within the individual member’s business practices and policies.


LOCAL GOVERNMENT RELATIONS (LGR):  Marilyn Schumacher, Chair
Monitors local government activity (City Council/ Planning Board) and recommends positions and actions to the Board of Directors on current real estate related issues. May act as liaison between city officials and Association.

MEMBER EVENTS / INSTALLATION:  TBD, Chair
Plans and organizes the annual Installation of the Board of Directors.

MEMBERSHIP:  Hanna Fry, Chair
Responsible for coordinating and assisting with all things member related, included hosting the New Member Orientation, General Membership meetings and various Membership issues in conjunction with the Association Executive.

**NOMINATING:  Karen Manuel, Chair
Handles the annual Board of Directors election including seeking candidates and speaking with members.

*PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS:  Evelyn Kennedy, Chair
Reviews complaints against members, conducts mediation hearings on alleged violations of the Code of Ethics, and provides a dispute resolution process. Committee members must complete Professional Standards Training every three years.

PUBLIC RELATIONS/COMMUNICATIONS: Sharon Alva, Chair

Works with the local media to promote the REALTOR® image and prepares press releases on Association activities and events.  Updates Facebook and Linked-In group pages as necessary.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & WELCOME MAT:  Allison Sullivan, Chair

Works to offer advertising to local community businesses and maintains a list of property managers for Welcome Mat bag distribution.
